I love Yin a lot. It’s always been my fave, and it’s what I practice the most.

My latest discovery and creation - Merging directly into a deep, gentle, connected restorative Yin sequence after breathwork.💥

Inviting the body to open, rest and continue to breathe into each intentional shape has proven to be incredibly supportive for the integration phase after breathing.

Plus, it just feels so dayum good! 🤤

The breathwork itself was magical. I again felt really safe, held and guided by Amy. During the breathing my chest started to vibrate and my whole body vibrated with it. It felt so good! What I love about these women’s circles is that each woman brings in so much medicine for the group by being brave and willing to enough to share from their own pain and struggles.

There is a felt sense of softening amongst the circle as we are each seen and related to in a new kind of light that can only come from sharing what we often perceive as ‘dark’.

This ceremony was magic, and it could only be this way because of each woman’s choice to fully participate.

“Amy invited me to one of her breathwork ceremonies whilst I was staying in Costa Rica.
I had an understanding that breathwork could be powerful, but my experience was more than I could have ever imagined…

Amy provided a space where I felt completely comfortable to be vulnerable but still safe along with the other wonderful woman taking part.

I had recently lost a baby and knew that I would be holding a lot of emotion…

During my breathwork I felt an undeniable warmth over my whole womb area… along with a very strong orange light directly in front of my eyelids… I later learnt that this was all linked to my sacral chakra.

I sobbed throughout, along with going through an in-depth thought process, but after I felt such a relief and a huge sense of reassurance and acceptance that I am where I’m meant to be in life.

I definitely feel like I can move forward from the loss now and I know that this workshop had a massively huge impact on how I was feeling about that situation.”

The breath - our first and last experience on planet Earth.

It makes sense that the element of air through our human body is a vessel to the Divine.

Every time I breathe, and each ceremony I guide, I am truly humbled and what is possible with circular, connected breathing.

If you knew that you already had a direct connection to Source within you, what would you want to explore?

The possibilities are truly endless. I promise.

The breath - our first and last experience on planet Earth.

It makes sense that the element of air through our human body is a vessel to the Divine.

Every time I breathe, and each ceremony I guide, I am truly humbled and what is possible with circular, connected breathing.

If you knew that you already had a direct connection to Source within you, what would you want to explore?

Are we even living if we are not in authentic connection with other humans?

It has become so normal to live and behave in a disconnected state with other humans.

In our circles we always practice authentic relating, and get a taste / memory of what true human connection is like.

When we create the space for true belonging and connection, magic happens. ✨

And the more we practice this kind of relating, the more normal it becomes.

Are we even living if we are not in authentic connection with other humans?

It has become so normal to live and behave in a disconnected state with other humans.

In our circles we always practice authentic relating, and get a taste / memory of what true human connection is like.

When we create the space for true belonging and connection, magic happens. ✨

And the more we practice this kind of relating, the more normal it becomes.

⭕️

She’s always communicating with us. We just need to listen.

And if we are her and she is us, then we must go inside to gain some trust.

When we intentionally bring the elements of nature into our healing work, our whole world can open up for the better.

It can be as simple as having plants on the altar, or setting up the circle in the jungle, where there’s a constant of sounds and scents entering the sphere - it’s affecting everyone and it’s all part of the ceremony.

Psilocybin is a beautiful ally in supporting us in a deeper kind of listening.

This mushroom teacher helps us to soften into what is already asking for our attention.

Mama Gaia is abundant in her giving, and how much we would like to receive is up to us.

SAFETY

This element is mega-important and is the base of every circle I guide.

If we want to go to meet those hidden, dark places and transform them, we must feel safe.

We cannot open if we do not feel safe.

I don’t know aboutchu, but as soon as I enter an environment with new people, my fight or flight response often switches on and I am not relaxed in my own body. My breathing changes - shorter breaths and higher up in my body.

There are many simple yet effective practices that work to soften and calm our system, land within ourselves as well as in the room. Hallelujah!

A non negotiable for me - At the beginning of each circle, we take the space we need regulate our nervous systems, with ourselves and also with each other. Otherwise, we aren’t going to fully be there. We will miss out.

For me, there are 3 layers of safety:

Internal - How are you able to show up for You?

Relational - How does the other in your relationships show up for you?

Spiritual - How safe do you feel in trusting Source / God / the bigger picture?

I’ve lived so much of my life feeling unfree.

Unfree free in my body, in my environment, in my emotions, with what and how to think, unfree on my life path…

When I realized that this was all conditioning from my childhood and that I was actually the only one getting in the way of my freedom… I WAS FREEEEE!

In my circles I pray for every being to feel an authentic, embodied sense of freedom…

Full permission to express themselves as they are and trust that their authentic freedom is ALL OF OUR FREEDOM.

Witnessing the people around me being brave and opening up parts of themselves that have been closed and stagnant for years, or maybe even their whole lives is ONE OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS TO BE A PART OF. ❤️‍🔥

As we free ourselves, our authenticity has the space to reveal itself.

And from here, we have the choice to embody it.

You are allowed to be you, fully.

And it’s okay that some parts of you have been buried away for some time. It’s valid. It makes sense.

You have the power to free these parts of yourself. They are keys to your highest joy.

… on the magical Finca Serena in Turrubares which we currently call our home. ✨

For me, going in the water (must include full head dunk 😄) after breathwork feels like a completion element.

Everything that has moved, gathered, resurfaced, awoken, released, stuck, been seen, etc. can have its final cleanse and an even more complete release with the nurturing element of water. 💧

These participants voted for the ice bath after and we delivered! 🥶

I was having a big cry in the car one morning as T and I pulled up to Buen Camino…

Being confronted with the fear telling me I cannot make it work here… I cannot do my work and I cannot make this life in the jungle work that I so deeply desire to. It was beginning to paralyze me.

Minutes later the manager came out and we shared about our upcoming retreat…

She casually asked if I would offer a breathwork circle here and I swear Spirit was speaking through her.

We need to feel safe if we want to open and meet our own shadows, and also if we want to meet our highest joy.

The Darkness and the Light are equally vulnerable.

Be discerning with who you allow to guide you and have access to you in vulnerable spaces.

Do you feel a resonance with them?

What sensations show up in your body when you feel them?

Do you feel a sense of hierarchy or separation?

Sometimes facilitators or guides might ‘make sense’ mentally, or you might have a really good logical reason of why you want to be in their space.

But the body knows.

A couple of years ago in The Netherlands, I was finally ready to attend my first psilocybin ceremony since the birth of my son and after 3.5 years of breastfeeding.

I totally lost my discernment protocol when looking for who to be guided in ceremony with.

My ability to check in with myself to feel a Yes or a No with the guides of this particular ceremony was obscured by my friend’s excitement towards them and her previous experience in ceremony with them.

Plus, I was ready and I wanted it NOW! (Sun in Aries - I can’t wait. 😅)

I didn’t check in with myself beforehand, and during the trip on the first night, it was very clear that these were not my people to be in this space with.

I wanted to go deep, but that didn’t feel possible here.

I had to leave the next day because for me, the environment was just not right for reasons that are irrelevant.

There was nothing wrong or bad about these 2 guides. It’s a personal decision and for some people, I bet they were and are absolutely right!

Different people need different beings to hold space and guide them depending on their needs at that point on their life path.

Even the ‘the best’ ones out there are simply not right for everyone.

What does being safe look like and feel like to you in relationship to a guide or facilitator?

What are your non-negotiables when it comes to your ideal environment to journey in?

What does your ideal safe environment look like / feel like / sound like / smell like / taste like?

And I’m curious - Who else has had an experience where they felt that their guides were not right for them?

What would it take to radically change the plot?
